Back in Bangor

I just realised how long it has been since I actually posted anything, so thought I would...also I am very bored and sat in a computer room cos we dont have our own net yet but we will by Friday, yay for Fridays!

I am currently feeling very very out of this I know is nothing very out of the ordinary but my brain seems to have ceased to work...ah well...

What of interest has happened, well obviously we have moved into our house which is lovely. It had to be scrubbed from top to bottom but once that was done there has been much dancing on sofas and ben and jerrys and watching of pointless countdown shows.

We are just about to have our toilet seat delivered so Im going to head home... I will update properly when I have the time and inclination lol xx

Back in the swing of it...

Hello little bloglets! Boredom prevails once again so I have decided to write you a nice little blog  aren’t I nice?

Currently I am listening to- Rod Stewart…because I can lol you cannot deny he’s catchy, well you could but you would be lying! Anyway…

They have found something else that is supposed to help prevent Cancer. Now to my knowledge chips, chocolate, red wine, tea, coffee, tomatoes… (you get the idea) are supposed to help you fight cancer and the latest thing is…mandarins! (not to be confused with mandolins which is either a musical instrument or a device to cut things into very very thing strips…ooo or a type of biscuits, although that could be spelt differently ANWAY…) if you would like to find out why you should read this:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/5333898.stm
As I am not exactly the most sciencey brained of peoples all I can tell you is its something to do with the fact its orange 

It takes twoooooo baby, just me and you…. (the Rod goes on)

On a personal note I am returning to Bangor on Friday 3 DAYS!!! I cant wait. Communal living is going to be interesting, me and Keira practically lived together last year but now we have a lovely Sarah and a lovely Alex to join our super nanny watching  I like smiley faces, makes the blog more happy…don’t you think?

As you can probably tell, I’m in a verrrrrrry random mood! The laptop is telling me I have spelt words wrong. I am perfectly aware of this, and it is perfectly intentional! SILLY LAPTOP!

Anyway I must go speak to my mother so she doesn’t fear I am dead!

Loves and hugs
xx

Little Freshery Peoples!

Ive been talking to my little friends, well I say little...they are 18 and Im 19 but they are younger than me so therefore are catagorized as little. They are all a lil worried about starting university bless them, and for the first time in my life I am the one who is able dispense advice.
Doesnt seem a year since I first started university...well it isnt yet which could be why lol They are all very concerned about leaving home, being in a strange place all on their own. I remember when I was first deposited in Bangor last September, it is unargueabley the lonliest moment of your life. Your mum who has looked after you all of your life is all of a sudden leaves you. Not only leaves you but leaves you where you know no one and you are in a white room that looks like a shoebox.
My main piece of advice to my little kidlets is to join a club. Then you have a little ready made group of friends outside the ones who live in your flat. I can honestly say joining Storm was the best thing I did at university, now Im not just saying that cos the powers that be (Hi Spence!) read this lol I have a lovely group of friends who I adore, 2 lovely housemates out of it (Alex we will make you join us) and more journalistic experience and trips to tesco than I ever could have hoped for :)
So there you are freshers of 2006, join the radio station ITS FUN!

Respect for the dead.

Im actually outraged! As Spence and Jack can tell you lol the reason for this is there is actual debate about whether the video containing Steve Irwin's death should be broadcast. The answer to this is certainly not!
My main argument for this is for his wife and kids. Once the video is released it is out there forever, it will probably be put onto internet TV sites like youtube and some "clever" person will end up putting captions on it and sending it to their friends. Imagine in a few years if his daughter is surfing the internet and happens upon this video, can you imagine the psychological damage it will do the poor lass to see her father being stabbed in the heart by a large fish?
The people who wish to watch this video obviously have some kind of morbid fascination with death, sick minded people. Steve Irwin and his family should be left in peace.

Watching TV...

Im watching 'Let me entertain you' on channel 2. Brain Connolly looks like Bradley Walsh. A girl in a large sparkley red dress sang "I could have danced all night" which considering she was 15 she did very well. Does anyone remember watching the Brian Connolly show when they were younger? Odd man!
Ok now theres a man called Candy...
