As many of you probably will know Ive been having a few issues with my Laptop recently (a few is putting it mildly) and thus took it into the rather grandly titled "Computer MOT Centre" to be mended. The first time I took it in (Note FIRST) was on Saturday and I was politely informed it would be ready for Monday. Happy Cat, went off had christmas yadda yadda yadda, came back on Monday...picked laptop up(I was informed by mr man that the reason I couldnt get my laptop to work wireless was because the computer didnt have wireless on it...imagine the conversation)
"The reason you cant work wireless is because this computer doesnt have wireless on it"
"yes it does"
"no it doesnt"
"Yes It Does!"
"What makes you think that?" (thats not patronising in the slightest is it...)
"BECAUSE I HAVE USED IT"
"oh hold on **mr man opens laptop** OOO YOU DO HAVE WIRELESS!"
(Give the boy a banana)
...took laptop home...wireless doesnt work.
thought "Oooo maybe itll work with an adapter"
Buy Adapter...wireless doesnt work....
Decide that I wasnt paying £45 for something that didnt work so took it back.
Now Mr Man tried to blame everything he could on me and the fact Keira (I Love you kiki) had had a look at my laptop. I was told to come back in an hour. VERY disgruntled Cat trudges up and down the High Street, in the rain for an hour. Go back. Man hasnt even looked at my laptop! Im not impressed but as I am told about 50 times a day that I have no tact I am very restrained. He tries to tell me windows explorer had been deleted. This isnt possible! Hes also talking to me like I am a retarded 5 year old. He tells me to come back later (again) but I have things to do so couldnt come back till today.
Anyway I wasnt very happy about the way I was spoken to by Mr Man and sent a grumpy text to Spencer, who equally wasnt impressed. He basically told me that if Mr man was rude to me again to tell him because he would "Have a word" lol
It so happened that Spencer was heading in the direction of the MOT shop when I was so decided to take him in with me. Mr Man was EXTREMELY polite to me, well with my 6ft 2 boyfriend stood behind me whilst he spoke to me he didnt really have much choice did he lol
Im all for female indepedence but in certain situations boys can be very useful!
